The second issue is the designation of the north St. Vrain Creek as a wild and scenic river. The City of Longmont has passed a resolution and is asking each city to consider a resolu- tion. I would like us to consider that. Howard stated that he and Councilwoman Horn- boatel met with the seniors last week and the question was brought up about having a breakfast with thew and they were very inter- ested. I would like staff to get with the head of the seniors and set up a date for that. Howard also stated there has been great response to the scomonic Development meeting and it is just a matter of setting a date. Davidson stated that the Subdivision Direc- tional Sign code needs to be enforced. I would like the Council to direct the Cods enforcement officer to enforce this code. The main concern is on KcCaslin Slvd and Cherry Street, but felt this is a general problem. Mayor Fauson stated that Cherry Street should be finished soon. Also Council, should be receiving an invitation to CML District meeting on April 11 and would ask the Finance Committee to allow Council to go to the dinner meeting. Davidson stated he felt that there should be a temporary committee appointed to look into the water acquisition policies and guide lines. Then when the new City Administrator comes on board he/she can :ook into this alsc. Szysutnski stated that she had been contacted by a upset citizen regarding a mistake that had been sad* on his permit fee when obtain- ing his permit to build his house. This natter should be looked into and corrected. V. need to make sure these mistakes do not reoccur. Mayor Fauson moved to recess for five minutes, then proceed with an Executive Session. 12
