\ NOT ICE ------ OF A PROPOSITION TO CREATE A SPECIAL IMPROVE- MENT DISTRICT IN THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO, TO BE KNOWN AS SPECIAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 1989-1, FOR THE PURPOSE OF CON- STRUCTING AND INSTALLING STREET, SIDEWALK, AND DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS, TOGETHER WITH NECESSARY INCIDENTALS, AND OF A PUBLIC HEARING THEREON. 1. All owners of real estate and property hereinafter described, and all persons generally, are hereby notified that the City Council of the City of Louisville, Colorado, has adopted a resolution declaring its intention to create a special improvement district, to construct certain improvements therein, and to assess the cost thereof against the property specially benefited by such improvements, all as more particularly set forth hereafter. 2. All persons are further notified that the kind of improvements proposed, the extent of the district to be improved, and the areas to be included within the district are as follows: (a) The proposed improvements consist generally of the reconstruction of a half mile of two lane bituminous roadway on South Boulder Road to a four lane asphalt boulevard with appropriate left turn slots, sidewalks, drainage facilities, and concrete curb and gutter. The area of the improvements is the only remaining two lane section of South Boulder Road between the City of Boulder and the City 9f Lafayette. The proposed four lane roadway will be constructed with concrete curb and gutter and asphalt paving. Medians will remain un1andscaped except for minimal grass seeding. The project includes excavation, pouring concrete curb and gutter and sidewalk, and paving with asphalt. Also included are necessary drainage facilities to properly drain the roadway during and after normal precipitation events. The improvements are to be made throughout the area included within the district. (b) The district will include the property described below. - 5 -
