Scott suggested that the Council will need a resolution that will include all documents at same
time, covenant, application process, land transfer - need agreement that specifies what is in
everything.

What is the process the City has to go through, by ordinance, a resolution, not transfer of land?
Changing of resolution, approve covenant, application documents, approving a program?
Hopefully, all of this will be able to occur in one meeting. Staff can prepare summary regarding
what they do. Bonnie will set it up and takes affect right away; set up closing. Sherri will send a
memo to Sam (city attorney) regarding these issues.

Presentation from Steve Anderson of RE/MAX ree:ardine: 5-7 sine:le familv homes near
Downtown
Steve represents the owner of the units near downtown Louisville, by Miners Field, possibly
historic miners shack.

Questions that arose from the Board:
What are the historical restrictions on the miners' shacks? Possibly relocate them. 6-month wait
before they can be demolished?

Steve Anderson gave a brief history of the founding of Regal Square, and then began telling
about Tom Bennett, owner of the seven properties. They are currently rented out, are in decent
shape, and have long-term tenants. He would like to sell all properties as a package. Will work
on terms of price. The properties are across the street from the Fast Tracks stop and parking.
Five of the properties are contiguous and two are across the street on Walnut. Steve stated that
he will be reasonable in pricing and finance offering; none are designated as historical. Tom
would be willing to carry the note at reasonable rate and terms. Steve Anderson will put together
the pricing structure, rent role, etc., and come back with a plan. This is a possible way to work
with affordable housing, zoned RM. There is almost 30,000 sq feet for building. It can possibly
be rezoned to put up more units. Steve will get a package to Frank.

Matters from Members of the Board
At Sunnyside; Housing had an LPEC crew looking to see what could be done with the units.
They are working on the lights, windows, insulation, etc. Residents said the crew was
outstanding.

Discussion was held regarding something that the youth advisory board could possibly begin
doing, going out into the community to assist widows, elderly, disable, etc., with simple things
like changing light bulbs, furnace filters, etc.

Action Items/Matters from Members of the Board
Discussion of Agenda Items for next 20 I 0 LHA board meeting: It was suggested that for the
next several months, the board meetings should be held at Lydia Morgan instead of rotating
them. The Board did not decide to do this, but may approve at the next meeting.

The next board meeting will be May 25,2010 at Lydia Morgan Apartments.
