...

mention to you. I was under the impression that
as it exists, there could be a west bound portion
of a new highway. I have since been told that
they would in no way meet the requirements for a
class two road. I have also learned that there
are some people against encroachment on Rock Creek
Farm, however, this whole proposal is based upon
getting more land for open space. I submit to you
if you can trade the width of a right of way for
half a mile across Rock Creek Farm and come to a
point where you can bridge 287, the creek of the
railroad with one structure and if you can trade
30 or 40 acres of Rock Creek Farm for 350 or 400
acres of new open space then that would be a good
trade.

Rocky Haight, 10925 Dillon Road

Haight: I don't like that paragraph that is on page 22 at
all. Even if we say use Rock Creek as a southeast
boundary, that would limit the viaduct that Mr.
Hoyle suggested to you. It's funny that the
Commissioners can't agree on a specific route. The
agreement does not have a map of the Dillon Road
area in it. Everything is identified in it but
not Dillon Road. I think the missing map is a
very important thing. I do appreciate everything
that Councilwoman Hornbostel has done for us. She
has really worked hard and taken care of us the
best she can out there.

Scott Slovell, 10145 Dillon Road

Slovell: I agree with the others that have spoken tonight.
I would be in favor of the route for the road
south of Dillon Road as opposed to disrupting a
number of residents along that roadway and if
those can be specified in the agreement that would
be my opinion as well.

Paula Newmann, 10935 Dillon Road.

Newmann: When you talk about saving the homes please
include 96th Street. I would like to make it a
point that in this IGA that on page 22 the little
error that they made about describing the defined
areas by confining it to Rock Creek Farm, it
really makes it sound like the only thing left is
Dillon Road. I would appreciate it if you would
change the wording to include the boundaries of
Rock Creek Farm on the south and the east. The
alignment that I would propose would be the one
that goes east of 96th Street and south of Dillon
Road. It would allow you have the interchange on
96th by STK and it would preserve all the homes.

8
