FOR EMPLOYEE PICNIC <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS <br />Steve Roth, 2228 Evans Circle, Louisville, Colorado <br />Harold Anderson, 2239 Evans Circle, Louisville, Colorado <br />Mr. Anderson and Mr. Roth explained to Council about the background of the Sisneros <br />property and the on-going legal procedures between some of the neighbors and Mr. <br />Sisneros regarding his proposed berm home. They expressed their concern about the safety <br />and the appearance of the property. Mr. Anderson and Mr. Roth did express their <br />appreciation to the City for fencing the property but asked council for help in alleviating <br />some the of the on-going problems. <br />Annette Brand, City Administrator explained that there were two situations involved; one <br />with the District Court; and one regarding local Municipal Codes. The City cannot get <br />involved with the Court's action. A summons to appear in Municipal Court regarding the <br />danger of Mr. Sisneros' property has been issued by the building official. Hearing is set <br />for Monday, September 23 at 5:45, this is a public hearing. Brand explained that the City <br />could not address the appearance problem other than the weeds. The City is working on <br />this on almost a daily bases and will keep everyone informed. <br />Mayor Fauson called for any other public comments. NONE <br />REGULAR BUSINESS <br />PRESENTATION - COLORADO RECYCLES AWARD - GLEN HUEY <br />Mayor Fauson presented Glen Huey with the Colorado Recycles Award. Glen Huey is a <br />member of the Louisville Recycling Board. Mr. Huey was awarded Honorable Mention <br />in the Citizen Recycling Category. The honor was based on Mr. Huey's work in developing <br />recycling drop off stations in Louisville, Lafayette, and Erie. Mr. Huey gave a brief history <br />of the drop off stations. <br /> 2 <br />
