Thank you for your consideration; we would like to request historical assessment for the <br />following: <br />• The "Louisville Caboose" <br />• Originally a boxcar that was built between 1913 and 1915, in 1941 it was <br />re -made into a caboose to support the war effort. In the early 1970s it came to <br />Louisville, and resided at Main St. and South Boulder Rd for nearly half a century. <br />• Thousands of Louisville residents dined inside over its time as various <br />restaurants, many people worked there over the years, and everyone came to <br />know it as an unofficial landmark on the way to downtown Louisville. In 2020, <br />right before the pandemic, it seemed like our whole town came together to help <br />save this piece of our town's history from being demolished (see photo below) <br />_ 1 <br />�... Ilk. 4 <br />, r•, k` <br />AL <br />R s' <br />4.. <br />• The small house at 1155 Pine St <br />• Built in 1900, the house was a miner's shack that was constructed next to the <br />Colorado & Southern railway spur that went out to the Rex Mines (as well as to <br />Lafayette). <br />• Property believed to have been owned by WJ Lee, then Harold Lee, then the <br />Desailly family <br />
