Approval of Lawrence Enrietto Park Usage Agreement Renewal <br />Approval of Second Amendment to the Cherry Street Professional Design <br /> Services Agreement with Centennial Engineering <br />Approval of Event Coordinator Contract Renewal <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS ON ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA <br /> <br />NONE <br /> <br />COUNCIL INFORMATIONAL COMMENTS ON PERTINENT ITEMS NOT ON THE <br /> AGENDA <br /> <br />Sisk asked that the change to the Event Coordinator Contract for 1999 be delineated for the record. <br /> <br />Davidson requested that the record show the July 4th Event Coordinator 1999 Contract for Services <br />compensation amount has been adjusted to $12,000 versus $11,500. <br /> <br />PRESENTATION - PROCLAMATION OF FAMILY CAREGIVERS' WEEK, <br /> NOVEMBER 22-28, 1998 <br /> <br />Davidson presented a proclamation declaring November 22-28, 1998 as Family Caregivers' Week <br />to Emily Cooper, Program Director of the Lafayette-Louisville Interfaith Volunteer Caregivers <br />Program. <br /> <br />Emily Cooper thanked Council for recognizing the many family caregivers in the community who <br />give so much of themselves to care for their elderly loved ones, She stated that the Lafayette- <br />Louisville Interfaith Volunteer Caregivers Program is a new program to provide help to these <br />individuals. The volunteers visit weekly with older adults who cannot be left alone, allowing the <br />family caregivers to take a needed break. They also make weekly visits to elders living alone, helping <br />to reconnect them to the community.
