[]JiJJ@!%&L?
~~
To: Bill Simmons
Scott Robson
~..
f;"
"
From: Eric Jensen
RE: Fiscal Budget 2007 Overview
,
., Date: July 1, 2006
".J", CC: Bobby Heath
Rob Ford
^,
Budget for Fiscal Year 2007
~
Many efforts are in place at Coal Creek Golf Course to build loyalty in a very
:1'';' competitive market place. Peak Player sales in 2006 have far exceeded the sales in
'J~, 2005 and Coal Creek continues to hold its position in our market with authority.
:;:
r
C' Quality marketing efforts are in place to ensure continued success in day-to-day
operations as well as tournaments and banquets.
While we continue to fight downward trends in the golf industry, Coal Creek
continues to enjoy steady growth. For 2007, I am projecting 38,000 rounds, which is
.., an increase of 2% above 2006 budget and a 1 % increase above 2005 actual. I am
>. projecting $273,465 in Food and Beverage revenues, which is an increase of 1 %
...:
above 2006 budget and a 20% increase above 2005 actual. Tournaments and
r
c 1 banquets continue to be vital to the success of Coal Creek and with the addition of
7: our full time Director of Marketing, we should enjoy a steady increase in banquets
and tournament rounds in 2007.
"~~
The 2007 budget shows attainable figures with respect to golf rounds and revenues,
.J as well as restaurant and banquet revenues. Continued growth of tournaments and
,:~ banquets, as well as the Peak Player program are imperative to the future of Coal
, Creek Golf Course. We have produced cost savings in all departments, and will
:r
~ continue to control expenses with good management practices. With expenses
~ under control, our focus will be driving revenues through proper marketing and
.. J consistent presentation of quality products and services.
J
:.r.::
C. This budget, presented by Western Golf Properties, shows an attainable NOI of
~
,.. $66,685 for 2007. As our reputation for quality and value continues to grow, and with
~ the diligence of the club's staff, we are confident that we can meet and exceed our
:--
,.' goals, Western Golf Properties stands behind its reputation as "The Name Behind
1'-
:r: the Game", and we look forward to a profitable year at Coal Creek Golf Course.
I'
..
