He continued with the following discussion points: <br />. Continued from the March 9, 2006 meeting to give the applicant an opportunity to revise <br />the proposal to include the addition of a screen wall along the west side of the proposed <br />new service drive at the rear of the building. <br />. Revised plans were submitted which include a screen wall constructed of concrete <br />masonry units (CMU), which is intended to match the materials and colors used on the <br />existing building. <br />. The proposed wall is 8 feet tall and is composed of three different colors of textured <br />CMU. It also includes pilasters spaced 20 feet on center the full length of the wall. Each <br />pilaster is 1'4" wide and project out from the mail wall plane. They are also slightly <br />higher than the main wall. <br />Wood recommended approval with the six conditions as detailed in the revised Resolution No.9, <br />Series 2006. <br /> <br />Commission Questions of Staff: <br />Loo requested clarification for the spacing of the pilasters. <br /> <br />Wood discussed that the proposed change would break-up the massing / bulk of the wall. <br /> <br />Lipton asked if the property owner (Koebel) to the west supports the site change to Lowe's. <br /> <br />Wood stated that the revised resolution is a result of discussions with Koebel. <br /> <br />Applicant Presentation: <br />Chris Kambar, 3445 Winton Place, Rochester, NY, with APD Engineering reviewed the changes <br />to the plans since the March meeting.
