Public Works Director Phare agreed and noted the cost of a <br /> hybrid truck is 20 -30% higher for the first generation hybrid vehicle He explained they <br /> are very cautious of first generation vehicles. <br /> Councilor Muckle and Mayor Sisk requested Staff evaluate second generation hybrids <br /> when considering City replacement vehicles. <br /> MOTION: Councilor Muckle rnoved to approve the award of bid to MVP Automotive, <br /> Inc. for two replacement trucks for the Parks Division, seconded by Mayor Pro Tem <br /> Marsella. Roll call vote was taken. The motion carried by a vote of 7 -0. <br /> PUBLIC HEARING CONTINUED CONOCOPHILLIPS CAMPUS ANNEXATION <br /> INITIAL ZONING, REZONING, PRELIMINARY SUBDIVISION PLAT PRELIMINARY <br /> PUD DEVELOPMENT PLAN REQUESTS (CONTINUED FROM APRIL 6, 2010) <br /> City Attorney Light outlined the documents in the City Council packet, which include the <br /> ConocoPhillips Campus Annexation Initial Zoning, Rezoning, Preliminary Subdivision <br /> Plat and the Preliminary PUD Development Plan Request. Members of the public may <br /> speak on any aspect of the applications included in the presentation. <br /> Mayor Sisk reopened the public hearing and reminded the public they may comment on <br /> Resolution Nos. 10, 11, 12, Series 2010 and Ordinances 1568 and1569, Series 2010. <br /> He requested a Staff presentation. <br /> Principal Planner McCartney explained the Staff reports were included in the City <br /> Council packet and noted all the conditions have been reviewed and approved by <br /> ConocoPhillips. <br /> City Attorney Light requested all the materials included in the April 20, 2010 City Council <br /> Packet be included in the record. <br /> MOTION: Councilor Dalton rnoved all the documents requested by the City Attorney be <br /> included in the record, seconded by Councilor Clabots. All were in favor. <br /> PUBLIC COMMENT <br /> Tom Davinroy, 518 W. Sycamore Circle, Louisville, CO, Chairperson of the Open Space <br /> Advisory Board addressed the ConocoPhillips Development Plan. He explained the <br /> Open Space Advisory Board is generally supportive of the Development Plan however <br /> the Board did send a letter to the City Council relative to the ConocoPhillips public land <br /> dedication and still maintains the public land dedication on the US36 side is unsuitable. <br /> The Open Space Advisory Board strongly supports the work of City Staff and the Parks <br /> and Recreation Division and requests the City Council support Staff recommendations. <br />
