Local Licensing Authority <br />Meeting Minutes <br />March 4, 2024 <br />Page 4 of 5 <br />The secretary pointed out that two emails of support were received <br />and provided to the Authority members. There were no comments in <br />opposition to the application. <br />There was no additional member discussion. Crowe noted that the <br />applicant was of good moral character, there is a desire for the license <br />to be granted and that all City and State law requirements have been <br />met. Based on those findings, Crowe moved that the application for a <br />Tavern Liquor License be approved with the condition that the <br />certificate of occupancy be obtained prior to the liquor license being <br />released. The motion was seconded by Carlson. Roll call vote was <br />unanimous in favor. <br />C. Public Hearing: New Application — Center Table Restaurant <br />Group, LLC d/b/a John's Table Kitchen and Bar — Hotel & <br />Restaurant Liquor License — 1700 Dogwood Street <br />The Public Hearing was opened by Kaufman. The Secretary stated <br />the application was complete, the premises was posted, notice <br />published as required and no comments were received. Background <br />reports were conducted as required. There were no reasons to deny <br />the application. <br />There were no authority member disclosures and the members <br />agreed that the boundaries of the neighborhood are the current city <br />boundaries. <br />Kaufman moved the entire application be made part of the record of <br />the hearing; Carlson seconded. All in favor. <br />The applicant, Alex Gianopoulos, was sworn in by the Secretary and <br />gave testimony on the application for a Hotel & Restaurant Liquor <br />License. <br />An email in support of the application was received and provided to <br />the Authority members. There were no comments in opposition to the <br />application. <br />There was no additional member discussion. Lipton noted that the <br />applicant was of good moral character, there is a desire for the license <br />to be granted and that all City and State law requirements have been <br />met. Based on those findings, Lipton moved that the application for a <br />Hotel & Restaurant Liquor License be approved with the condition that <br />the Brew Pub license be surrendered. The motion was seconded by <br />Carlson. Roll call vote was unanimous for approval. <br />
