landmarking the structure and the $4,000 grant for the Historic Structure Assessment previously <br />approved for the property. <br />Under Resolution No. 17, Series 2019, owners of landmarked properties are eligible to apply for <br />Preservation and Restoration Grants. Approved work must fall under the categories of <br />preservation, rehabilitation, and/or restoration. <br />Resolution 17 includes a requirement that grant requests be received within 36 months of the <br />date a property is declared a landmark, per Section 12.a on page 8. City Council landmarked <br />928 La Farge on February 15, 2022, making the deadline for grant requests February 15, 2025. <br />Resolution 17 also includes an allowance for properties to request reimbursement for work <br />already completed under Section 12.h. <br />Table 1. While the applicant <br />has provided a letter from Slade Glass Co. (included in Attachment 2) stating that the windows <br />need to be replaced due to smoke damage sustained during the Marshall Fire in 2021, the <br />windows are not original to the home and the smoke damage was not related to the age of the <br />14 <br />
