RESOLUTION NO. 43 <br />SERIES 1999 <br /> <br />IN RECOGNITION OF THE BLUE PARROT RESTAURANT'S 80TM <br />ANNIVERSARY AS A LOUISVILLE FAMILY-OWNED BUSINESS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Blue Parrot Restaurant has been contributing to the commercial <br />economic viability of the City of Louisville for eighty years; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Colacci family has been in continuous operation of the Blue <br />Parrot Restaurant for eighty years; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the operation of the Blue Parrot Restaurant has been a benefit to the <br />citizens of Louisville by providing tax dollars for parks and other public improvements; <br />and, <br /> WHEREAS, the Blue Parrot Restaurant shares a commitment to the City of <br />Louisville by participating in the Taste of Louisville, the Spaghetti Open Golf <br />Tournament, and other community festivities; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Louisville values and esteems the 80th anniversary of the <br />operation of a business that is nearly as old as the City itself. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, I, TOM DAVIDSON, MAYOR OF THE CITY OF <br />LOUISVILLE, COLORADO, do hereby declare that the Blue Parrot Restaurant is a <br />pioneer business of the City of Louisville and is recognized and appreciated by the <br />citizens of Louisville. <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of August, 1999. <br /> <br />Dave Clabots, City Clerk <br /> <br />Tom Davidson, Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
