RESOLUTION NO. 43 <br />SERIES 2024 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A PRESERVATION AND RESTORATION GRANT <br />FOR THE WAREMBOURG HOUSE LOCATED AT 917 REX STREET <br />WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the Louisville Historic Preservation <br />Commission (HPC) an application requesting a preservation and restoration grant for the <br />Warembourg House, a historic residential structure located at 917 Rex Street, on property <br />legally described as Lots 18-20, Block 5, Murphy Place, Town of Louisville, City of Louisville, <br />State of Colorado; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Staff and the HPC have reviewed the application and found it to <br />be in compliance with Section 3.20.605.D and Section 15.36.120 of the Louisville Municipal <br />Code; and <br />WHEREAS, the HPC and City Council have held a properly noticed public hearing on <br />the preservation and restoration grant; and <br />WHEREAS, the preservation and restoration work being requested includes making <br />repairs to the existing structure; and <br />WHEREAS, the Historic Preservation Commission and City Council find that these <br />proposed improvements will assist in the preservation of the Warembourg House, which is <br />to be landmarked by the City; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HISTORIC PRESERVATION <br />COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: <br />The City Council approves the proposed Preservation and Restoration Grant <br />application for the Warembourg House, in the amount of $162,446 for work as described <br />in the attached Exhibit A. <br />Attest: <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17th Day of September 2024. <br />Meredyth Muth, City Clerk <br />By: i�l 4)4 <br />Christ° I.\br M.
