Proposed Ordinance to the 2024 ICC codes <br />ORDINANCE NO. <br />Building Code Board of Appeals <br />Agenda <br />September 25, 2024 <br />Page 9 of 56 <br />AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING BY REFERENCE THE 2024 INTERNATIONAL <br />BUILDING CODE, 2024 INTERNATIONAL RESIDENTIAL CODE, 2024 <br />INTERNATIONAL MECHANICAL CODE, 2024 INTERNATIONAL FUEL GAS <br />CODE, 2024 INTERNATIONAL FIRE CODE, 2024 INTERNATIONAL <br />EXISTING BUILDING CODE, 2024 INTERNATIONAL PLUMBING CODE, <br />2024 INTERNATIONAL PROPERTY MAINTENANCE CODE, 2024 <br />INTERNATIONAL SWIMMING POOL AND SPA CODE ALL OF THE FIRST <br />PRINTING, 1997 UNIFORM CODE FOR THE ABATEMENT OF DANGEROUS <br />BUILDINGS AND THE 1997 UNIFORM HOUSING CODE <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted from time to time certain building and <br />construction standards; and <br />WHEREAS, it is deemed to be in the interest of the public health, safety and <br />general welfare to adopt by reference thereto the updated editions of the above -referenced <br />codes; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council, after proper notice as required by law, has held a <br />public hearing on this ordinance providing for the adoption of said codes; and <br />WHEREAS, the updated editions of the above -referenced codes have been <br />submitted to the City Council in writing and the City Council has determined that such <br />codes should be adopted as herein set forth. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: <br />Section 1. Chapter 15.04 of the Louisville Municipal Code is hereby repealed <br />and reenacted to read as follows: <br />Chapter 15.04 <br />INTERNATIONAL BUILDING CODE <br />Sec. 15.04.010. Adoption. <br />Sec. 15.04.020. Amendments to the 2024 International Building Code. <br />Sec. 15.04.030. Appendices adopted. <br />Sec. 15.04.040. Section 101.1 amended —Title. <br />
