^ Open ;apace Advisory Board Nleeting Minutes -Final City of LOUisville Tuesday, July Stn, 2008 Louisville City Hall Spruce Room 749 Main Street 6:00- 7:40 PM Call to Order -Chairperson 'Tom Davinroy called the meeting to order at 6:OOpm. Roll Call was taken and the Following board members were present: Tom Davinroy, Truman Bradley, K;ate LeMere, and Lany Crowley. Absent: Linda Smith, SpencE:r Guthrie, Bret Harper, and Aaron Grider Staff Members Present: E:mb~er Brignull and Sean McCartney Approval of Agenda - Larry moved to approve the <~genda as printed. Truman seconded. The motion was unanimous. Approval of June Meeting Minutes - Tom noted correction of 'off-lease' instead of off leash. Larry moved to approve the minutes as corrected. Truman seconded. The motion was unanimous. Public Comments on Items Not on the Agenda Jean Morgan 1131 Spruce si:reet would like to adopt the Gateway Open Space and would like to discuss the wildflowers and prairie dogs found there at our next meeting. To prepare, staff is asked to do an evaluation of Gateway. StafF Updates -Ember 8~rignull 1. RFP's for Daugheribaugh bridge and Rec. Center have been accepted. 2. Field trip this Saturday with Boulder County grassland restoration is still available. Contact Vivian 303-678-6277 if interested. 3. This Saturday is the Pull for Colorado. Everyone is invited to help pull thistle and dalmati<~n toadflax at Davidson Mesa. There will be prizes and food for participants. ,1im Krick is coordinating. 4. Boulder Youth Corps 1~inished plantings at sports complex and are now working at Tamarisk doing trail maintenance. 5. The Hecla Lake RF=P';> are due July 15"'. Construction acceptance will be at the end of September. Once acceptance is complete then the area will be open to the public. Board Updates Kate is pregnant ar~d clue October 14tH
