RESOLUTION NO 34 <br />SERIES 2019 <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE TRANSPORTATION <br />MASTER PLAN <br />WHEREAS, the City of Louisville is a home rule municipal corporation organized under <br />and pursuant to Article XX of the Colorado Constitution and the Louisville Home Rule Charter; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council initiated a process to develop a Transportation Master <br />Plan (TMP) for the City, which sets forth desired transportation polices, projects and <br />programs to reflect a short and Tong -term vision for the City's transportation network, and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Louisville TMP is intended to provide a baseline for existing <br />conditions, consider future trends, and outline community needs and desires for <br />implementation of a balanced multi -modal transportation network, and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Louisville TMP is intended to provide a strategic vision to <br />guide community decisions on transportation investments that will improve access to safe <br />and convenient transportation options for all ages and abilities, support businesses and the <br />economic vitality of the City, and minimize traffic congestion and the associated impacts, <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the development of the City of Louisville TMP incorporates public input <br />received through extensive public engagement and review and feedback from the City's <br />Planning Commission, Open Space Advisory Board, Park and Public Landscaping Advisory <br />Board, Sustainability Advisory Board, and Business Retention and Development <br />Committee <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of <br />Louisville, Colorado does hereby adopt the City of Louisville Transportation Master <br />Plan <br />PASSED AND ADOPT <br />TT T <br />t Muth, City Clerk <br />PLthis 1st day of October, 2019 <br />t Tft <br />i <br />Y <br />obert P Muckl°e, Mayor <br />Resolution No. 34, Series 2019 <br />Page 1 of 1 <br />
