RESOLUTION NO. 30 SERIES 2003 A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE HIGHWAY 42 REVITALIZATION AREA COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AMENDMENT WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the Louisville City Council a proposed amendment to the City's Comprehensive Plan known as The Highway 42 Revitalization Area Comprehensive Plan Amendment; and WHEREAS, the recommendations in the Framework Plan, if adopted, would apply to an area bounded on the north by South Boulder Road, on the south by Pine Street, on the east by State Highway 42 and on the west by the Burlington Northern and Santa Fe railroad; and WHEREAS, the Highway 42 Revitalization Area Comprehensive Plan Amendment is based on the Highway 42 Revitalization Area Framework Plan, previously adopted by City Council; and WHEREAS, City Staff and the Planning Commission have reviewed the proposed Comprehensive Plan Amendment against the criteria established in Section 17.64.070 of the Louisville Municipal Code as stated in the Planning Commission Staff Report of July 17, 2003, and have found that said criteria have either been met or are not applicable; and WHEREAS, after a duly noticed public hearing concerning said Framework Plan on July 17, 2003, where evidence and testimony were entered into the record, including the Planning Commission staff report of same date, the Planning Commission recommended approval of the Comprehensive Plan Amendment to City Council; and WHEREAS, City Council has reviewed the plans and associated text in the document, along with the recommendation of the Planning Commission and City Council finds that the Highway 42 Revitalization Area Comprehensive Plan Amendment should be adopted as an amendment to the City's Comprehensive Plan. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Louisville, Colorado does hereby adopt the Highway 42 Revitalization Area Comprehensive Plan Amendment as an amendment to the City's Comprehensive Plan. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 16~h day of September 2003,
