RESOLUTION NO. 19 SERIES 2011 A RESOLUTION APPROVING A FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE LIBRARY SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH THE TOWN OF SUPERIOR TO PROVIDE FOR INSTALLATION OF A BOOK DROP IN SUPERIOR TOWN HALL WHEREAS, the City of Louisville "Louisville and the Town of Superior "Superior previously entered into an Intergovernmental Agreement dated April 13, 2009 in order to set forth certain mutual understandings regarding contributions by Superior to the operating costs of the Louisville Public Library and access to services of the Louisville Public Library by residents of Superior, and related matters; and WHEREAS, the City and Town have determined that it is desirable for a book drop to be located at the Superior Town Hall; and WHEREAS, the City and Town desire to amend the Intergovernmental Agreement to add new provisions regarding the funding, installation, operation and maintenance of a book drop at the Superior Town Hall, and a First Amendment to said Agreement has been proposed for such purpose; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: 1. The proposed First Amendment to Intergovernmental Agreement between the City of Louisville and the Town of Superior regarding funding, installation, operation and maintenance of a book drop at Superior Town Hall is hereby approved in essentially the same foiin as the copy of such First Amendment accompanying this Resolution. 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute the First Amendment on behalf of the City Council of the City of Louisville, except that the Mayor is hereby granted the authority to negotiate and approve such revisions to said First Amendment as the Mayor determines are necessary or desirable for the protection of the City, so long as the essential terms and conditions thereof ar- •t altered. 0 O SS day 1 ADOPTED this da of L!.4 2011. 1SEAL TSrS h.
