<br />ORDIN)~NCE NO. ._1 7 )/ <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION 4.5 OF CHAPTER 4 OF <br />THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLO- <br />RADO, ENTITLED" CITY CLERK --SALARY --BOND". <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, <br />COLORADO: <br /> <br />Section 1. THAT the following sections of Chapter 4 of the Municipal <br />Code of the City of Louisville, Color'ado, be amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />"4.5 City Clerk - Salary - Bond. A city clerk shall be elected at <br />each general municipal election. The city clerk shall receive as <br />full compensation for his services as such clerk the sum of $5,700.00 <br />per annum, payable in equal semi-monthly payments. Before enter- <br />ing upon the duties of the office, the clerk shall furnish a surety bond <br />to be approved by council, in the amount of $ 10,000.00, conditioned <br />upon the faithful discharge of his duties as city clerk and that when <br />he shall vacate such office he will turn over and deliver to his suc- <br />cessor all monies, books, papers, property or things belonging to <br />the city and remaining in his hands as such clerk. If the same person <br />should serve as both city clerk and city collector, one surety bond <br />in the amount of $ 10,000.00 may be given to cover both positions or <br />offices. " <br /> <br />Section 2. This Ordinance shall be effective as of January 1, 1970. <br /> <br />Section 3.
