<br />AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE SUBMISSION TO A VorE OF THE QUALIFIED ELECTORS 0
<br />THE TOWN OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO WHO SHALL HAVE PAID A PROPERTY TAX THEREIN
<br />DURI:r-K7 THE PRECEDII-G CALENDAR YEAR, AT THE MUNICIPAL ELECTION TO BE HELD ON
<br />APRIL 1st, 1958, AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 140 OF THE TOWN OF
<br />LOUISVILLE, INSOFAR AS SAID ORDINANCE NO. 140 ESTABLISHES CERTAIN PROPERTY IN
<br />CALEDONIA PlACE ADDITION TO THE TOWN OF LOUISVILLE AS PARK AND PLEASURE
<br />GROUNDS.

<br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF LOUISVILLE:...
<br />
<br />Section 1. That the Town of LouiSVille, Colorado is the owner of the fol-
<br />lowing described property, to-wit:
<br />
<br />ttLots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6, in Block 10; Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 9, 10, 11
<br />and 12, in Block 11; Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12, in Block
<br />12; Lots 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12, in Block 1~; and Lots 1, 2,
<br />3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12, in Block 14, and all of BlOCk 18, all
<br />in Caledonia Place Addition to the Town of LOUiSVille, Colorado,1t

<br />and that on the 1st day of April, 1924, by Ordinance duly passed and submitted
<br />to the qualified electors of the Town of Louisville said property was establishe
<br />as a park and pleasure gounds.
<br />
<br />Section 2. Said above described property has never been used for park or
<br />pleasure ground purposes and is not needed for such purposes and the Board of
<br />Trustees is of the opinion that said property can be put to more appropriate
<br />and advantageous use, and thereby promote the general welfare and prosperity of
<br />the Town of Louisville.

<br />Section 3. That Ordinance No. 140 of the Town of LouiSVille, Colorado
<br />be repealed insofar as said Ordinance establishes the above described property
<br />as park and pleasure grounds, and that said property be removed from park
<br />and pleasure ground purposes. so as to become a commercial and industrial parkol .
<br />
<br />Section 4. That the above Ordinance be submitted to the qualified electorsl
<br />of the Town of Louisville who shall have paid a property tax therein during the I
<br />preceding calendar year, at the municipal election to be held on April 1st, 1958~
<br />
<br />Section 5. That the foregoing Ordinance shall be voted upon by the quali- t
<br />fied electors of the Town of Louisville who shall have paid a mroperty tax there
<br />in during the preceding calendar year, by answering one of the following ques-
<br />tions: j

<br />insofar as said Ordinance 140 establishes certain property in Caledonia
<br />place Addition to the Town of Louisville as park and pleasure grounds.1t
<br />
<br />Section 6. All other Ordinances and parts of Ordinances in conflict with
<br />this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
<br />
<br />Section 7. In the opinion of the Board of Trustees it is hereby declared
<br />that an emergency exists, that this Ordinance is necessary for the immediate pre
<br />servation of the public peace, health and safety, and therefore it shall take
<br />effect five days after passage by the qualified electors.
<br />
<br />Introduced, read and adopted this 4th day of February, 1958.
