<br />ORDINANCE NO. J.3 .$. <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 29 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE <br />CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO, ENTITLED "OFFENSES - GENERAL" <br />BY ADDING A NE'I'J SECTION ENTITLED "29.29 CURFEW", j\ND REPEALING <br />ALL ORDINANCES OR PM{TS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: <br /> <br />That Chapter 29 of the Municipal Code of the City of Louisville is hereby <br /> <br />amended by the addi tion of the following section:- <br /> <br />29.29 Curfew. It shall be unlawful for any parent, guardian or other <br /> <br />'FiFre(i"N <br />person having care or custody of any child under the age of fr! ~ L~~.l years <br /> <br />to allow or permit any such child to be or remain upon any street, alley Or <br /> <br />other public place between the hour of 10:00 P.M. and the time of sunrise of <br /> <br />the following day, except for lawful employment or unless there exists a <br /> <br />reasonable necessity therefor; or unless such child is accompanied by the <br /> <br />parent, guardian or other person of the age of twenty-one years having per- <br /> <br />mission of the parent or guardian to have the cus tody and care of such child. <br /> <br />It shall be unlawful for any child under the age of fourteen years to be <br /> <br />or rema1n upon any street, alley or other public place between the hour of <br /> <br />10: 00 P.M. and the time of sunrise of the following day, except for lawful <br /> <br />employment or unless there exists a reasonable necessi ty therefor; or unless <br /> <br />such child is accompmlied by the parent, guardian Or other person of the age <br /> <br />of twenty-one years having permission of the parent or guardian to have the <br /> <br />custody and care of such child. <br /> <br />I t shall be unlawful for any parent, guardian or other person having care <br />NIA/€"JP&# <br />or custody of any child under the age of i:.t., 11 fy years to allow or permi t any <br /> <br />such child to be or remain upon any street, alley or other public place between <br /> <br />the hour of 12:00 midnight and the time of sunrise of the following day, <br /> <br />except for lawful employment or unless there exists a reasonable necessi ty <br /> <br />therefor; or unless such child is accompanied by the parent, guardian or <br /> <br />other person of the age of twenty-one years having permission of the parent <br /> <br />or guardian to have the custody and care of such child. <br /> <br />-1- <br />
