RESOLUTION NO. 05 SERIES 2005 A FINAL PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT (PUD) DEVELOPMENT PLAN AND A SPECIAL REVIEW USE (SRU) FOR A 31,900 SQUARE FOOT, TWO-STORY, PUBLIC LIBRARY, WITH SURFACE PARKING AND A ONE-LEVEL BELOW GRADE PARKING STRUCTURE WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the City Council of the City of Louisville an application for approval of a special review use (SRU) and a final PUD development plan for a 31,900 square foot, two story, public library, with surface parking and a one-level below grade parking structure; and WHEREAS, all materials related to the PUD and the SRU have been reviewed by City Staff, the Planning Commission and City Council and have been found to comply with Chapter 17 of the LMC, including the SRU criteria listed in Section 17.40.100; and, WHEREAS, after a duly noticed public hearing on January 27,2005 where evidence and testimony were entered into the record, including the findings in the Louisville Planning Commission Staff Report of January 27, 2005 the Planning Commission recommended approval to the City Council, with conditions; and, WHEREAS, the City Council on February 15, 2005, held a duly-noticed public hearing on the application, WHEREAS, City Council has reviewed the application, including the recommendation of the Planning Commission and finds that the application should be approved, with the following condition: 1. The City of Louisville will deposit money into the Downtown Parking Improvement fund as part of this project in an amount of $3,600 multiplied by the parking space deficit. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Louisville, Colorado does hereby approve a special review use (SRU) and a final PUD development plan for a 31,900 square foot, two story, public library, with surface parking and a one-level below grade parking structure.
