' 7 <br /> 1983 <br /> Cit y of Louisville <br /> Annual Report <br /> A message from the mayor <br /> As a community we have seen several new pro- <br /> jects started and completed with only a few major <br /> problems arising in the infrastructure of our city. <br /> The new pressurized 60-inch pipeline past the <br /> Marshall landfill project is completed with only a few <br /> minor improvements yet to come. <br /> Homart's agreement with the city was finally com <br /> pleted and our citizens have a workable deal with <br /> both parties having commitments to assure the quali- -' <br /> ty and success of the city's and venture's concepts. Ar ter:, <br /> We have all learned it takes time and cooperation to <br /> j ', <br /> make things work. <br /> , <br /> Boulder County's portion of South Boulder Road <br /> is presently under construction and will cause some <br /> inconvenience but will truly be a worthwhile effort to <br /> improve traffic flow in the area. The city's portions of <br /> South Boulder Road are being postponed but should <br /> be resumed as soon as we can make the proper <br /> financial arrangements. <br /> As everyone is aware, we have experienced water <br /> restrictions due to limitations and late construction at <br /> our water treatment facility on the hill. The City, our We have solved quite a few problems, but we still <br /> consultants and the contractor are working diligently have a lot of work. We can only accomplish good <br /> to resolve the problems at the plant.
