<br />,:)...1 <br /> <br />:::01370997 i 2/09/93 (~3: 21 PM REl1L ESU~ITF.:: RECURDS <br />F1914 CHARLOTTE HOUSTON BOULDER CNTY CO RECORDER' <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1109 <br />SERIES 1993 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE DEDICATING THE BUILDING AT 801 GRANT AVENUE, <br />LOUISVILLE, COLORADO, AS THE LOUISVILLE CENTER FOR THE <br />ARTS BUILDING AND PROVIDING FOR THE USE THEREOF. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council believes it is in the best interests <br />of the City and its citizens to dedicate the City building at 801 <br />Grant Avenue, Louisville, as a Center for the Arts for a period of <br />at least twenty years and to establish a board to assist in the <br />operation of the building and scheduling of arts and cultural <br />events. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: <br /> <br />section 1. The City building at 801 Grant Avenue, <br />Louisville, Colorado, is hereby dedicated for a period of twenty <br />years, as the Louisville Center for the Arts, to be used for arts <br />and cultural events beneficial to the citizens of Louisville. <br />Nothing herein shall limit the authority of a future City Council <br />to rededicate the building for such use at the end of the twenty <br />year period. <br /> <br />Section 2. There is hereby created a Center for the Arts <br />Governing Board, to be composed of three residents of Louisville <br />appointed by the Mayor and approved by the City Council for two <br />year terms. The Board shall assist appropriate City administrative <br />staff in the operation of the building known as the Louisville <br />Center for the Arts, and shall be responsible for scheduling of <br />arts and cultural events and uses in the building.
