<br />WHEREAS, the State Legislature, of the State of Colorado, in
<br />1974 passed House Bill No. 1041, being Ch. 80 § 106-7 et. seg. (1974)
<br />Colo. Sess. Laws 336, which concern land use and proviTed for identi-
<br />fication, designation, and administration of areas and activities of
<br />State interest, and
<br />WHEREAS, under the provisions of said House Bill 1041, local
<br />governments were requested to identify areas of State interest, and
<br />WHEREAS, the City of Louisville, employed Oblinger-Smith Corpo-
<br />ration, a planning consultant firm to aid the City of Louisville in
<br />identification of areas of State interest, and
<br />WHEREAS, Oblinger-Smith prepared a map entitled Geologic Hazards
<br />Area Map, Louisville, Colorado, dated August 28, 1975 from data of the
<br />Colorado Geological Survey- subsidence hazard map Boulder, Weld field,
<br />dated December 1, 1975 and from other reliable engineering sources, and
<br />WHEREAS, said map indicates that there may be some areas within
<br />the "Development Plan Map, Louisville, Colorado, dated August 28, 1975",
<br />prepared by Oblinger-Smithy Corporation in which subsidence could occur,
<br />and
<br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Louisville,
<br />Colorado, on August 28, 1975 adopted said Geologic Hazards Area Map
<br />as an amendment to the Development Plan Map, Louisville, Colorado, and
<br />determined that the geologic hazards shown thereon to be matters of State
<br />interest.
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE: IT RESOLVED that the Geologic Area Hazards Map,
<br />Louisville, Colorado, datE~d August 28, 1975, as prepared by Oblinger-
<br />Smith is hereby adopted as an amendment to the "Development Plan Map,
<br />Louisville, Colorado, datE~d August 28, 1975" which is a part of the
<br />Master Plan of the City oi' Louisville, Colorado, and
<br />IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that Geologic Hazard Areas, as shown on
<br />said map are a matter of State interest and should be developed only in
<br />accordance with the provisions of House Bill 1041, and applicable Ordinances,
<br />Resolutions, and Policies of the City of Louisville.

<br />Louisville, Colorado, this 2nd day of September, 1975.
