<br />WHEREAS, the State Legislature of the State of Colorado, in 1974
<br />passed House Bill No. 1041, being Ch. 80 § 106-7 et. seg. (1974) Colo.
<br />Sess. Laws 336, which concern land use and provided for identification,
<br />designation, and administration of areas and activities of State interest,
<br />and
<br />WHEREAS, under the provisions of said House Bill 1041, local
<br />governments were requested to identify areas of State interest, and
<br />WHEREAS, the City of Louisville, employed Oblinger-Smith Cor-
<br />poration, a planning consultant firm, to aid the City of Louisville
<br />in identification of areas of State interest, and
<br />WHEREAS, Oblinger-Smith prepared a map entitled Mineral Resources
<br />Areas Map, Louisville, Colorado, dated August 28, 1975, from the data of
<br />the Colorado Geological Survey - Sand, Gravel, and Quarry Aggregate Resour-
<br />ces Map, dated June 30, 1970, and
<br />WHEREAS, said map indicates that there may be some areas within
<br />the "Development Plan Map, Louisville, Colorado, dated August 28, 1975,"
<br />prepared by Oblinger-Smith Corporation in which certain mineral resources
<br />may be available, and
<br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Louisville, Colo-
<br />rado, after public hearing and discussion adopted said Mineral Resources
<br />Area Map as an amendment to the "Development Plan Map Louisville, Colorado"
<br />dated August 28, 1975.
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mineral Resources Area Map,
<br />Louisville, Colorado, dated August 28, 1975, as prepared by Oblinger-Smith
<br />is hereby adopted as an amendment to the "Development Plan Map, Louisville,
<br />Colorado, dated August 28, 1975 which is a part of the master plan of the
<br />City of Louisville, Colorado.
<br />Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the
<br />City of Louisville, Colorado, this 2nd day of September, 1975.
