Some high priority City Council goals for 2000 are as follows: <br /> Ward 1 Councilmembers: <br /> Charles Sisk,Jay Keany • Maintain Louisville as a safe city. <br /> • Review and revise plans for Highway 42 from South <br /> Ward 2 Councilmembers: Boulder Road to Pine Street and develop a streetscape <br /> Kevin Howard, Tom Mayer <br /> improvement plan. �O <br /> Ward 3 Councilmembers: • Establish a Youth Task Force. <br /> Rob Lathrop,Arnold Levihn • Continue with trail connections. BLS T <br /> City Clerk: • Consider potential properties for a community park. <br /> Dave Clabots • Establish a task force to update the current Parks,Trails, and Open Space <br /> Master Plans. <br /> Treasurer: <br /> • Continue with open space acquisitions. <br /> William Hesson <br /> • Maintain and enhance a consumer-friendly environment for citizens. <br /> City Administrator: • Continue with debt reduction. <br /> William Simmons <br /> • Continue to plan for a connection between Highway 42 and 96th Street. <br /> D <br /> o a The City is currently preparing its 2000 budget with the described goals and <br /> ` e e�t�n g£s policies as guidelines.
