<br /> <br />Open Space Advisory Board <br /> <br />Meeting Minutes <br />February 13, 2008 <br />Louisville Public Library <br />951 Spruce Street <br />15t Floor Meeting Room <br />7 :00 PM <br /> <br />Call to Order - Chairperson David Waldman called the meeting to order at 7:01 <br />p.m. <br /> <br />Roll Call was taken and the following members were present: <br /> <br />Board Members Present: David Waldman, Tom Davinroy, Kate LeMere, <br />Linda Smith, Truman Bradley, Brett Harper <br /> <br />Board Members Absent: Ted Kowalski, Mikael Anderson <br /> <br />Staff Members Present: Ember Brignull, Kathy Martin <br /> <br />Approval of Agenda - The agenda was amended by David Waldman to move <br />discussion of the Park Villas and Takoda developments to an earlier time in order <br />to accommodate members of the public who wished to comment. <br /> <br />Approval of Meeting Minutes - The minutes from the January 9th meeting were <br />approved as written. <br /> <br />Public Comments - Doug Grinbergs reported several examples of vandalism on <br />City Open Space and offered to show photographic evidence. Photos deferred <br />until after police representative discussion. <br /> <br />Police and Code Enforcement - Police Chief Bruce Goodman and Operations <br />Commander Bill Kingston spoke with the Board about reporting and enforcement <br />issues on Open Space properties. Commander Kingston emphasized that the <br />police department provides continuous protection to the entire City and that <br />citizens are encouraged to contact the police department immediately with <br />reports of any illegal or suspicious behavior at the non-emergency phone number <br />303-441-4444. The majority of Open Space reports are for loose dogs, illegal <br />dumping or graffiti.
