<br />A RESOLUTION AMENDING 'THE 2008 BUDGET BY INCREASING
<br />APPROPRIATIONS IN THE GENERAL FUND, CONSERVATION TRUST -
<br />LAND ACQUISITION FUND, CONSERVATION TRUST -LOTTERY FUND,
<br />CEMETERY PERPETUAL CARE FUND, CAPITAL PROJECTS FUND,
<br />LIBRARY CONSTRUCTION FUND, WATER UTILITY FUND, BUILDING
<br />MAINTENANCE FUND, TECHNOLOGY MANAGEMENT FUND, AND FLEET
<br />MANAGEMENT FUND, FOR ROLLOVER APPROPRIATIONS AND
<br />ADDITIONAL EXPENDITURES WITHIN SUCH FUNDS.
<br />WHEREAS, the need exists to amend the 2008 budget by increasing the
<br />appropriations in the General Fund, Conservation Trust -Land Acquisition Fund,
<br />Conservation Trust -Lottery Fund, Cemetery Perpetual Care Fund, Capital
<br />Projects Fund, Library Construction Fund, Water Utility Fund, Building
<br />Maintenance Fund, Technology Management Fund, and Fleet Management
<br />Fund; and
<br />WHEREAS, the need to amend the 2008 budget arises for two reasons:
<br />1. To "rollover" appropriations from 2007 to 2008 for projects that
<br />were approved in 2007 but were not completed in 2007; and
<br />2. To establish new appropriations in 2008 for proposed expenditures
<br />that were not anticipated, or were not measureable, at the time the original 2008
<br />budget was adopted; and
<br />WHEREAS, the revenue for the increase in appropriations will come from
<br />the unreserved and undesignated reserves of the General Fund, Conservation
<br />Trust -Land Acquisition Fund, Conservation Trust -Lottery Fund, Cemetery
<br />Perpetual Care Fund, Capital Projects Fund, Library Construction Fund, Water
<br />Utility Fund, Building Maintenance Fund, Technology Management Fund, and
<br />Fleet Management Fund.
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
<br />THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO:
<br />SECTION 1. That the 2008 General Fund appropriation be increased by
<br />$104,830, from $13,552,820 to $13,E357,650.
<br />SECTION 2. That the 2008 Conservation Trust -Land Acquisition Fund
<br />appropriation be increased by $59,61)0, from $1,146,939 to $1,206,539.
<br />SECTION 3. That the 2008 Conservation Trust - Lottery Fund
<br />appropriation be increased by $163,000, from $261,150 to $424,150.
