Aaron
seconded and the motion passed unanimously
Public Comments on Ite~ms~ Not on the Agenda
Art Phelps, resident of Balfour Lodge questioned when Hecla Lake work will
be complete. Further, he was worried about a few safety issues and when a
bench on the west side oi` thc~ lake would be installed. The Balfour residents
would like to see more than one bench installed. Ember stated that the property
hasn't been turned over fron-i the developer, Markel yet and we can't do a bench
until then. The area still r~ee~ds to meet construction acceptance of stage 1. The
trail to Lafayette won't be cor~npleted until crossings are completed. That
crossing will be concrete and wooden railing. The bench on the concrete pad
should go in this year. Regarding safety issues, the fence in the woods should
be removed during constr•uct.ion. The contractor will be giving suggestions for
ditch safety that will be pass~sd onto the developer. Most of these items will be
done by the fall. There might be trail closure for some items to be finished later.
Art stated that the signs staying the area is closed have been removed. Ember
will get these replaced. Linda asked if more benches could be put in. Ember
stated it depends on what types of benches are used and completion of work.
