RESOLUTION NO. 8 <br />SERIES 2017 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AGREEMENT WITH KOELBEL AND COMPANY <br />FOR THE SHARING OF COSTS OF TRAFFIC CALMING AND LANE REDUCTION ON <br />CENTENNIAL PARKWAY <br />WHEREAS, the City of Louisville ("City") and Koelbel and Company, a Colorado <br />corporation ("Koelbel") desire to construct improvements to Centennial Parkway; and <br />WHEREAS, an agreement has been proposed between the City and Koelbel setting forth <br />the nghts and obligations of the City and Koelbel with respect to sharing of costs of certain <br />traffic improvements at five intersections on Centennial Parkway; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed agreement is m the best interests of <br />the City and its citizens, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: <br />1. The City Council hereby approves the proposed Agreement between the City of <br />Louisville and Koelbel and Company ("Agreement"), in essentially the same form as the copy of <br />such Agreement accompanying this Resolution. <br />2 The Mayor is authorized to execute the Agreement on behalf of the City, except that <br />the Mayor is hereby further granted authonty to negotiate and approve such revisions to said <br />Agreement as the Mayor determmes are necessary or desirable for the protection of the City, so long <br />as the essential terms and conditions of the Agreement are not altered <br />3.
