<br />The intent of this PUD is to develop: two buildings for service commercial/light industrial use totalling
<br />15,500, sq. ft. Currently the site is undeveloped and being used for parking and outside storage. It i.s-
<br />a transitional neighborhood. that would be enhanced by this development. ,The. primary site concern is to
<br />provide -.attractive commercial buildings along the high -visibility traffic corridors; to buffer the heavy
<br />industrial uses to`the south and to provide smaller lease spaces for service Uses not available in Louis-
<br />ville. --These uses might include retail -•sale, services, wholesale,shops as well as light industrial assem-
<br />bly and warehouses:

<br />To accomodate the various uses .and provide a buffer from theindustry to the south, we have designed the
<br />eastern building in an "L" shape with the most attractive exposures to the east and north. Landscaping
<br />along Griffith Street and Colorado 42, will further screen°the adjacent.neighborhoo.dfrom industry to the
<br />.south.• Two large landscape areas have"been set aside along Griffith to create a trantion from the res-
<br />idential to industrial zone, with a mix of deciduous and evergreen' trees, shrubs, and hedges.
<br />The architectural intent is to provide attractive masonry service buildings witli'windowv,'walks and land-
<br />scape in -the most visible exposures. Overhead service doors would-be screened. Security lighting will
<br />;be Wall-pacs .(High pressure sodium or equivalent on photocells).,
