ORDINANCE NO. 1746 <br />SERIES 2017 <br />AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A RECREATION ADVISORY BOARD <br />TO SERVE AS AN ADVISORY BOARD TO THE CITY COUNCIL <br />WHEREAS, the City's recreationisenior center, golf course, and recreation <br />facilities are a major asset to the City of Louisville; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council desires to have a board to advise on matters <br />related to the recreationisenior center, the golf course, and recreation facilities and <br />recreation issues in general; and <br />WHEREAS, the purpose of this Ordinance is to establish the Recreation <br />Advisory Board, and <br />WHEREAS, members of the Recreation Advisory Board shall serve in an <br />advisory capacity to the City Council; and <br />WHEREAS, the terms, responsibilities, duties and other matters concerning the <br />Recreation Advisory Board established by this ordinance shall be established by City <br />Council resolution <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: <br />Section 1. Title 2 of the Louisville Municipal Code is amended by the addition of <br />a new Chapter 2 67, to read as follows: <br />Chapter 2.67 <br />Recreation Advisory Board <br />Sec 2 67 010 Created <br />Sec 2 67.020 Members <br />Sec. 2.67.030 Powers and Duties <br />Sec. 2.67.010 Created <br />There is created and established a Recreation Advisory Board for the City, <br />which hereinafter in this chapter is referred to as the "Board." <br />Sec. 2.67.020 Members <br />The Board shall consist of nine (9) members, each of whom shall be <br />appointed by City Council The qualifications, terms, and other matters <br />respecting membership of the Board shall be as set by City Council resolution. <br />Ordinance No 1746, Series 2017 <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />
