LOUISVILLE LOCAL LICENSING AUTHORITY <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1 <br />SERIES 2017 <br />A RESOLUTION CONCERNING LIQUOR TRAINING FOR LICENSEES <br />WHEREAS, the Louisville Licensing Authority, pursuant to its authority in Section <br />5 08.130 of the Louisville Mumcipal Code, has previously adopted Rules of Procedure (the <br />"Rules") concerning proceedings before the Local Licensing Authority of the City of Louisville, <br />and <br />WHEREAS, Rule 3 K of the Rules of Procedure addresses liquor training for licensees <br />and the Authority desires to amend said section to require a Statement of Training to be <br />submitted with applications for new, renewed or transferred liquor licenses. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LOCAL LICENSING <br />AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: <br />Section 1. Rule 3.K of the Rules of Procedure for the City of Louisville Local <br />Licensing Authority is hereby amended to read as follows (words to be added are underlined) <br />THE CITY AND THE STATE OF COLORADO PROVIDE TRAINING <br />CLASSES FOR LICENSE HOLDERS, THEIR MANAGERS AND <br />EMPLOYEES. PLEASE ASK THE SECRETARY TO THE AUTHORITY <br />WHEN THE NEXT TRAINING SESSION WILL BE HELD. Managers of <br />licensed premises are strongly encouraged to attend the next scheduled training <br />session provided by the Authority following the grant of a new license or the <br />transfer of ownership of a liquor license All employees involved with sales or <br />service of alcoholic beverages are strongly encouraged to attend at least one <br />training session provided by the Authority per year Managers and employees <br />who attend training sessions should file proof of such attendance with the <br />Secretary to the Authority, as attendance at training sessions may be considered <br />by the Authority in connection with any suspension or revocation proceedings In <br />addition to the foregoing, all applicants for a new, renewed or transferred liquor <br />license shall submit with their applications a Statement of Training in essentially <br />the same form as the copy of such Statement accompanying this Resolution. <br />Section 2. This Resolution shall be effective on August 28, 2017 and shall apply to all <br />applications for new or transferred liquor licenses submitted after said date unless and until this <br />resolution is repealed or amended by subsequent action of the Authonty. <br />
