ORDINANCE NO. 1747 <br />SERIES 2017 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 16 AND TITLE 17 OF THE LOUISVILLE <br />MUNICIPAL CODE REGARDING SUBDIVISION APPLICATIONS, AND <br />MODIFICATION AND APPROVAL PROCESSES <br />WHEREAS, the City of Louisville is a Colorado home rule municipal corporation duly <br />organized and existing under laws of the State of Colorado and the City Charter, and <br />WHEREAS, the City has previously adopted Title 16 of the Louisville Municipal Code <br />(LMC), concermng subdivision, and Title 17 of the LMC, concerning zoning, and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council desires to amend certain provisions of such titles to <br />authonze modifications from Title 16 and Title 17 standards proposed with a subdivision request <br />upon advice of the Plannmg Commission, and to provide that such modifications proposed with <br />a subdivision request shall not be eligible for review by the Board of Adjustment, and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council desires to amend certain provisions of such Titles to <br />require that all lots within subdivision applications front a street rather than an alley, and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council desires to make other minor modifications to such Titles; <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: <br />Section 1. The following definitions in Section 16 08 020 of the Louisville Municipal <br />Code are hereby amended to read as follows (words added are underlined, words deleted are <br />stneken4Iffeugh) <br />Sec. 16.08.020 - Definitions. <br />Lot means a parcel of land of at least sufficient size to meet minimum <br />requirements for use, coverage, and area, and to provide required yards and other open <br />spaces Such lot shall have frontage on an improved public street, or on an approved <br />pnvate street, exclusive_ of public_ or private alleys, and may consist of the following, <br />provided that in no case of division or combination shall any residual lot or parcel be <br />created which does not meet the requirements of this title <br />A A smgle lot of record, <br />B A portion of a lot of record, <br />C A combination of complete lots of record, of complete lots of record and <br />portions of lots of record, or portions of lots of record, <br />D A parcel of land described by metes and bounds <br />Ordinance No 1747, Senes 2018 <br />Pag0 1 of 7 <br />
