RESOLUTION NO. 6 <br />SERIES 2018 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE CITY COUNCIL RULES OF PROCEDURE <br />WHEREAS, the City of Louisville is a home rule municipal corporation organized <br />under and pursuant to Article XX of the Colorado Constitution and the Louisville Home <br />Rule Charter; and <br />WHEREAS, the Louisville Home Rule Charter provides that the City Council may <br />determine its own Rules of Procedure for meetings, and <br />WHEREAS, in order to efficiently and effectively complete City business facing the <br />Council, all meetings must be conducted in an orderly and respectful manner; and <br />WHEREAS, the Rules of Procedure are intended to provide guidelines for the <br />procedures to be followed for the conduct of Council meetings; and <br />WHEREAS, the Rules of Procedure are intended to help preserve order and <br />decorum and assure public input; and <br />WHEREAS, City Council has reviewed the Rules of Procedure and finds the Rules <br />should be approved <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LOUISVILLE, COLORADO; <br />1. That the City Council does hereby approve the City Council Rules of Procedure <br />accompanying this Resolution. <br />2. The City Council shall review its adopted Rules of Procedure at least once every <br />two years to determine if any changes are warranted, provided, however, that <br />the first such review shall occur within six (6) months of the adoption of this <br />Resolution. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of February, 2018 <br />i <br />I <br />By: <br />Robert P.
