RESOLUTION NO. 24 <br />SERIES 2018 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A GRANT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF <br />LOUISVILLE AND THE STATE BOARD OF THE GREAT OUTDOORS COLORADO <br />TRUST FUND FOR FUNDING OF THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE SOUTH BOULDER <br />ROAD PEDESTRIAN AND BICYCLE CONNECTIVITY FEASIBILITY STUDY AND <br />PLAN <br />WHEREAS, the City of Louisville has received a grant from Great Outdoors Colorado to <br />fund the development of a feasibility study and plan for improved pedestrian and bike connections <br />across South Boulder Road, subject to the execution of a grant agreement. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO THAT: <br />1. The proposed Grant Agreement ("Agreement") between the City of Louisville and <br />Great Outdoors Colorado to fund the development of the City of Louisville South Boulder Road <br />Pedestrian and Bicycle Connectivity Feasibility Study and Plan is hereby approved in essentially the <br />same form as the copy of such Agreement accompanying this Resolution. <br />2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute the attached Agreement on behalf of the <br />City Council of the City of Louisville, except that the Mayor is hereby granted the authority to <br />negotiate and approve such revisions to said Agreement as the Mayor determines are necessary or <br />desirable for the protection of the City, so long as the essential terms and conditions of the <br />Agreement are not altered. <br />3. The City Council of the City of Louisville, Colorado hereby authorizes the <br />expenditure of funds necessary to meet the terms and obligations of the Agreement and application. <br />4.
