RESOLUTION NO. 01 <br />SERIES 2017 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN ALTERATION CERTIFICATE FOR THE CENTER FOR <br />THE ARTS AT 801 GRANT AVENUE FOR EXTERIOR ALTERATIONS AND <br />CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW POOL HOUSE <br />WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the Louisville Historic Preservation <br />Commission (HPC) an application requesting an alteration certificate for a historic <br />commercial structure located at 801 Grant Avenue, known as the Center for the Arts, on <br />property legally described as Lot 5-11, Block 5, Pleasant Hill Addition & Vacated Grant <br />Street Adjacent, Town of Louisville, City of Louisville, State of Colorado; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Staff and the HPC have reviewed the application and found it <br />to be in compliance with Chapter 15.36 of the Louisville Municipal Code, including Section <br />15.36.120, establishing criteria for alteration certificates; and <br />WHEREAS, the HPC has held a properly noticed public hearing on the proposed <br />alteration certificate; and <br />WHEREAS, the proposed scope of work, outlined in the staff report on May 15, <br />2017, meets the criteria of Louisville Municipal Code Section 15.36.120 and is historically <br />compatible and does not detract from the historic character of the structure; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HISTORIC PRESERVATION <br />COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: <br />The application for an alteration certificate for the Center for the Arts be approved as <br />described in the staff report dated May 15, 2017. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED this 15th day of May, 2017. <br />Lym. - Haley, Chairperso <br />43 <br />CGe \ so , v \ c,c COY) <br />1 <br />
