National Random Acts of Kindness Week <br /> February 11-15, 2002 <br /> WHEREAS, the tragic events facing our nation have reinforced the need to respect diversity and <br /> show kindness to all people; and <br /> WHEREAS, the daily acts of kindness of most citizens of Louisville often go unrecognized; and <br /> WHEREAS, by recognizing these daily acts of kindness during this week,all citizens of Louisville <br /> will become more aware of the importance of being kind to others throughout the <br /> year. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that I, Tom Davidson, Mayor of the City of Louisville, <br /> Colorado,do hereby proclaim the week of February 11-15,2002 as Random Acts of Kindness Week <br /> in the City of Louisville and urge all citizens to participate in spreading kindness and practicing <br /> respect, generosity, patience, and consideration of others at all times in order to create a better, <br /> kinder, safer and more peaceful City. <br /> Dated this 5th day of February, 2002 <br /> ti : Tom on, Mayor <br /> emVatfkIle <br /> s * <br /> co' <br /> Nancy Varra, City Clerk <br />
