ORDINANCE NO. 1371 SERIES 2001 AN ORDINANCE INCREASING WATER RATES IN THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Louisville, Colorado, has determined that an increase in the water rates charged by the City is necessary in order to adequately finance the City's water services. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: Section 1. Section 13.12.090 of the Louisville Municipal Code is hereby repealed and reenacted to read as follows: Sec. 13.12.090. Metered service. All new taps installed within or without the City shall be installed with a meter provided by the City. For water sold by the City, the following rates shall apply: Ao Inside Meter Rates. The rates for water usage shall be as set forth in the appropriate table: Effective January 1, 2002 through December 31, 2002 and thereafter: GALLONS Zero - 7,000 RATE $13.89 (minimum monthly charge) 7,001 - 15,000 $13.89 for the first 7,000 gallons, plus $2.46 for each additional 1,000 gallons (or fraction thereof) 15,001 - 20,000 $33.57 for the first 15,000 gallons, plus $2.56 for each additional 1,000 gallons (or fraction thereof) 20,001 - 30,000 $46.37 for the first 20,000 gallons, plus $2.66 for each additional 1,000 gallons (or fraction thereof) 30,001 - 40,000 $72.97 for the first 30,000 gallons, plus $2.76 for each additional 1,000 gallons (or fraction thereof) 40,001 - 50,000 $100.57 for the first 40,000 gallons, plus $2.88 for each additional 1,000 gallons (or fraction thereof)
