RESOLUTION NO. 18 SERIES 2000 A RESOLUTION SETTING A GOAL OF LIMITING THE NUMBER OF NEW RESIDENTIAL DWELLING PERMITS ISSUED IN CALENDAR YEAR 2000 WHEREAS, in Resolution No. 36, Series 1993, the City Council established various goals and policies for the management of growth and development within the City of Louisville; and WHEREAS, paragraph 4 of Resolution No. 36 set as a goal that the City Council would strive to limit the number of residential building permits issued in 1994 so as not to exceed 250 per calendar year for single family and 120 per calendar year for multi-family; and WHEREAS, said paragraph 4 requires the City Council to review the building permit goal annually with the express goal of reducing the single family equivalent to an optimum of 150 total building permits or less by calendar year 1997; and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that based on dramatically reduced residential growth since 1993, that the goals and policies set for the management of residential growth within the City of Louisville that were required to be set by Resolution No. 36, Series 1993 have been successfully attained and therefore a specific goal no longer need be set annually. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: 1. As a goal and consistent with attendant conditions, the City Council will strive to limit the number of new residential dwelling permits issued in calendar year 2000 so as not to exceed 35 single family equivalents. 2. Year 2000 is the final year in which a goal is set for residential permits. 3. In all other respects, Resolution No. 36, Series 1993, remains in effect as written and adopted by the City Council.
