RESOLUTION NO. 13 <br />SERIES 2002 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE CITY COUNCIL'S INTENT TO MAKE FUNDS <br />AVAILABLE IN FURTHERANCE OF HOUSING IMPROVEMENTS IN THE CITY OF <br />LOUISVILLE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, housing is a good thing; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council is working cooperatively with the Louisville Housing <br />Authority to provide affordable housing in Louisville; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Louisville Housing Authority is looking forward to 2002; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Louisville Housing Authority would like to begin the design and <br />permitting phase for construction of multi-unit housing on the property located at 520 <br />South Boulder Road and complete a structural assessment of the Regal Square <br />Apartments; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The Louisville Housing Authority requests financial support from the <br />City to pay for an architect and engineering firm to initiate work at 520 South Boulder <br />Rd. and to hire design services to complete a structural assessment of the Regal Square <br />Apartments as is necessary to initiate these projects. <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of <br />Louisville, Colorado does hereby declare its intent to make available up to $100,000 for these <br />specific projects.
