RESOLUTION NO. 15 <br />SERIES 2003 <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION APPROVING A <br />FINAL PUD DEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR THE <br />LOUISVILLE POLICE BUILDING <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the Louisville City Council, a request <br />for approval of a final PUD development plan for the Louisville Police Building; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, all materials related to the final PUD development plan have been <br />reviewed by City Staff and the Planning Commission and found, with conditions, to <br />generally be in compliance with the sprit and intent of the City's zoning ordinance, <br />including the provisions of the Commercial Development Design Standards and <br />Guidelines (CDDSG); and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, after a duly noticed public hearing, where evidence and testimony <br />were entered into the record, including the findings in the Louisville Planning <br />Commission Staff Report of May 13, 2003, the Planning Commission recommended <br />approval to the City Council; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City Council has reviewed the application, and finds that said final <br />PUD development plan should be approved, with the following conditions: <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />The City shall provide an additional lO feet of right-of-way along Via Appia to <br />accommodate a future right turn lane. <br /> <br />Along McCaslin Boulevard, the easterly row (or those trees required on the <br />project side of a future sidewalk) of street trees shall be planted no closer than 25 <br />feet from existing curb line. <br /> <br />The street trees proposed adjacent to Via Appia and McCaslin Blvd, on the <br />outside of the future 8'sidewalks shall be deferred until completion of sidewalk <br />construction. <br /> <br />The landscape plan shall comply with the Commercial Development Design <br />Standards and Guidelines (CDDSG), as revised. <br /> <br />The PUD site plan shall be modified to reflect that the pedestrian crossing within <br />the parking lot is constructed of scored, and colored concrete. <br /> <br /> <br />
