RESOLUTION NO. 22 SERIES 2010 A RESOLUTION APPROVING A LEASE AGREEMENT FOR THE LEASE OF 637 FRONT STREET, CITY OF LOUISVILLE WHEREAS, the City is the owner of the former Post Office Building at 637 Front Street, located on Lots 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5, Block 4, Town of Louisville, County of Boulder, State of Colorado, which lot has an address of 637 Front Street and upon which lot is located a one-story masonry building; and WHEREAS, LuckyPie llc desires to lease such property from the City and the City is willing to lease such property to LuckyPie llc; and WHEREAS, a lease agreement has been proposed for such lease, and the City is authorized to enter into such a lease pursuant to its home rule charter and other applicable law; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: Section 1. The proposed Lease Agreement between the City of Louisville and LuckyPie llc of Lots 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5, Block 4, Town of Louisville is hereby approved in essentially the same form as the copy of such Lease Agreement accompanying this Resolution. Section 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute the Lease Agreement, except that the Mayor and City Manager, or either of them, is hereby further granted the authority to negotiate and approve such revisions to said Lease Agreement as are determined necessary or desirable for the protection of the City, so long as the essential terms and conditions of the Lease Agreement are not altered. Section 3. The City Manager and City Staff are further authorized to do all things necessary on behalf of the City to perform the obligations of the City under the Lease Agreement and to execute and deliver any and all documents necessary to effect the lease under the terms and conditions of the Lease Agreement.
