APPROVED 06/22/2006 Planning Commission Meeting Minutes March 9, 2006 City Hall, Council Chambers 749 Main Street 7:30 PM Call to Order - Chair Lipton called the meeting to order at 6:30 PM. Roll Call was taken and the following members were present: Commission Members Present: Jeff Lipton, Chair Chris Pritchard, Vice-chair Susan Loo, Secretary Gail Hartman Hank Dalton Michael Deborski Monica Sheets Commission Members Absent: None Staff Members Present: Paul Wood, Planning Director Kenneth Johnstone, Principal Planner Approval of Agenda - Pritchard moved and Sheets seconded a motion to approve the agenda a prepared. The motion as amended passed by voice vote. Approval of Minutes - February 9, 2006 Loo requested the following corrections: Page 8, under Public Hearing Closed / Commission Comments section 18t sentence should read "Loo stated that the IDDSG were in conflict with the need for maximum visibility on a relatively unsecured property." Also, Michael Deborski should be noted in the voting box as 'excused'. Pritchard moved and Dalton seconded a motion to approve the minutes as corrected. Motion passed to approve the February 9, 2006 minutes with the two corrections. Public Comments on Items Not on the Agenda - None heard. Regular Business - Items Recommended for Tabling / Continuance / Withdrawal - '" Resolution No. 27, Series 2005, Highway 42 Mixed Use Zoning and Design Standards and Guidelines. A request to consider an ordinance to amend Chapter 17 of the Louisville Municipal Code to add a new Chapter 17.14 titled Mixed Use Zone Districts and Mixed Use Design Standards and Guidelines to allow a mix of higher density residential and commercial uses.
