APPROVED -11/15/2006 Board of Adjustment Meeting Minutes October 16, 2006 City Hall, Council Chambers 749 Main Street 7:00 PM Call to Order - Loeblich called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM. Roll Call was taken and the following members were present: Board Members Present: Horst Loeblich, Chair James Stuart, Vice-chair Gerry Kelly William Cordell Gunnar Malmquist Wayne Chancellor, associate member Board Members Absent: John Weise Staff Members Present: Sean McCartney, Principal Planner Jolene Schwertfeger, Administrative Assistant and Recording Secretary Loeblich noted that this is the first meeting since March, 2006 and there are several new things: a new chair, new vice-chair and a new staff member. Loeblich stated that in the absence of John Weise that the associate member, Wayne chancellor, would serve as a full member for the hearings this evening. There is also a unique situation with one of cases for this evening in the fact that the applicant is one of the board members. He also noted that the applicant will have a representative presenting his case. Approval of Agenda -Stuart moved and Kelly seconded a motion to approve the agenda. Motion passed by voice vote. Approval of Minutes - Loeblich noted three corrections to the minutes. Stuart moved and Cordell seconded a motion to approve the February 15,2006 minutes as corrected. Motion passed by voice vote. Public Comments - Items Not on the Agenda - None heard. Regular Business - Public Hearing Item Loeblich reviewed the procedures for the meeting; opened the public hearing; and reviewed the criteria that must be met for each of the variance requests. y Case No. 06-022-VA: 1082 W.
