<br /> I <br /> RES 0 L UTI 0 N NO. -LL <br /> ------.---- <br /> ESOLUTION AGREEING TO ISSUE INDUSTRIAL <br /> LOPMENT REVENUE BONDS TO FINANCE A PROJECT <br /> BOULDER VALLEY POW WOW, INC. , A COLORADO <br /> ROFIT CORPORATION. <br /> EAS, the City of Louisville in the State of Colorado <br />(the is authorized by the County and Municipality Devel- <br />opment Reven e Bond Act, C.R.S. 1973, constituting Title 29, <br />Article 3, P rt 1, C.R.S. 1973, as amended (the "Act"), for the <br />benefit of th inhabitants of the State and for the promotion of <br />their health, safety, welfare, convenience, and prosperity, to <br />finance one r more projects, including any land, building or <br />other improv ments and all necessary and appurtenant real or <br />personal prop rties suitable for manufacturing, industrial, com- <br />mercial, agri ultural, or business enterprises, upon such condi- <br />tions as the City Council ( the "City Council") of the City of <br />Louisville ma deem advisable; and <br /> WHE EAS, the City is further authorized by the Act <br />to issue its evenue bonds or other obligations for the purpose of <br />defraying the cost of financing any such project; and <br /> WHE EAS, representatives of Boulder Valley Pow Wow, <br />I nc. , a Color do nonprofit corporation (the "User") have met with <br />officials of the City and have advised the City of the User's <br />interest in eveloping land within the City as a site for and <br />constructing and equipping thereon structures, buildings, and <br />related and ppurtenant facilities for use as a rodeo park ( the <br />"Project"), s bject to the willingness of the City to finance the <br />Project by th issuance of industrial development revenue bonds or <br />other obligat'ons pursuant to the Act; and <br /> EAS, the User has represented to the City that the <br />Project een designed to qualify as a "project" within the <br />meaning Act; and <br /> WHE EAS, the City has considered the User's proposal <br />and has conc uded that the economic benefit to the City will be <br />substantial d e to an increase in employment and the promotion of <br />industry and of trade and other economic activity <br />within the Ci <br /> EAS, the City wishes to proceed with the financing <br />of the ; and <br /> EAS, the proposed issuance of the industrial devel- <br />opment revenu bo nd s and the execution of related financing docu- <br />ments are not prohibited by any ordinances, resolutions, or rules <br />of the City; <br />
