<br /> . - <br /> HESOLUTION NO. 4 <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO, WITH <br /> RESPECT TO THE UTILIZATION OF THE CITY <br /> HALL DURING THE TERM OF THE CITY'S <br /> SPECIAL OBLIGATION NOTE. <br /> WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 668, series 1979, as amended <br />by Ordinance No. 670, series 1980, the City Council did authorize <br />the issuance of the City's Special Obligation Note in the principal <br />amount of $939,375.00 and did provide for the pledge and deposit <br />of certain sales tax proceeds to secure the payment of the principal <br />of and interest on said Note; and <br /> WHE REAS , said Special Obligation Note shall be issued to <br />finance the renovation, improvement, and enlargement of the <br />Louisville City Hall in order to provide sufficient office space <br />for the conduct of the City's affairs; and <br /> WHEREAS, as an inducement to the prospective Holder of <br />s~id Special Obligation Note to provide the financing for such <br />renovation, improvement, and enlargement of the City Hall, the <br />City Council deems it necessary and desirable to bind the City <br />concerning the utilization of the City Hall during the term of <br />said Special Obligation Note. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE I' BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of <br />the City of Louisville, Colorado, that so long as any principal <br />of and interest on said Special Obligation Note are outstanding, <br />the City shall utilize the City Hall to the greatest degree possible <br />for the donduct of the City's municipal affairs and with the except- <br />ion of the Library and Police Functions, shall not rent, lease, <br />purchase or otherwise acquire or use other or additional office <br />space for the conduct of the City's municipal affairs to the extent <br />space may be availablein the City Hall which is suitable for the <br />conduct of the City's municipal affairs. <br /> Approved by the City Council of the City of Louisville, <br />Colorado, at its meeting of JANUARY 24 , 1980. <br />
