<br /> <br />City Council <br /> <br />Finance Committee <br /> <br />Meeting Minutes <br />April 30, 2007 <br />City Hall, City Manager's Office <br />749 Mai n Street <br /> <br />Call to Order - The meeting was called to order at 4:00 pm. <br /> <br />Roll Call was taken and the following members were present: <br /> <br />City Council: <br /> <br />Mayor Chuck Sisk <br />Council Members Sheri Marsella and Ron Sackett <br /> <br />Absent: <br /> <br />Staff Present: <br /> <br />Heather Balser, Interim City Manager, Patty Leslie, <br />Finance Director, <br /> <br />Speaking Guests: Council Member, Don Brown <br />Visiting Citizen: Steve Costello <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS ON ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />OPEN ISSUES <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order at 4:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Council Member, Don Brown was present to review and discuss the Gift Card <br />Program/Marketing Program. Don basically summarized the results of the gift <br />card program and the related costs. The summary statement included in the <br />finance packet showed that the potential loss to the city would be ($13,426) the <br />first year. The staff stated their concerns over the program administration <br />residing with the City and never being transferred. Council members stated their <br />concern over the cost and were leaning towards an alternative marketing <br />program.
